With the use of outdoor media, in conjunction with local Radio and Print Media, we delivered an awareness campaign for St. Patrick’s Festival 2019 in Carlow. A vibrant display of colour was added to the town, using traditional Irish colours and symbols. The gradual introduction of billboards, roadside displays and lamp post banners, added to the anticipation of the event, while not contributing to the proliferation of temporary signs around the area. With best practice, the message on outdoor media was minimal and easy to read. The detailed information was left to print and broadcast media. In addition, this visual theme was extended to the festival’s social media platforms.
